Marketing And Promotion: Creating A Plan

Step 2 Of Our Marketing And Promotion Ideas

Now that you know your ideal client profile from Step 1 its time to work out where they reside so you know the location to share your message.

  • What clubs are they part of?

  • What social groups do they belong to?

  • Which social media platforms do they use?

  • What do they read?

  • What where do they eat/drink?

  • What other products or services do they buy?

This process allows you once again to get very specific regarding where you convey your message to appeal to your ideal client. Should your message be more print-based at a physical location? Do you need to develop a relationship with a referrer in a club or group? Is it more of a digital marketing campaign?

For example if you want to work with runners, get closely associated with the local running club or group. Interested in helping reduce falls? Maybe your local GP is a better referrer here.

Also, consider where you should spend your time on social media based on the ideal client you are trying to appeal to.
