Stomp-IT Push Up Isometric

Position: Position your client in a push up position on the Stomp-IT up against an IsoRack bar or equivalent with elbows flexed at approximately 100°.

Cues: "Push as fast and as hard as you can and hold for 3 seconds, pause for 3-5 seconds and then repeat for a total of 3 times"

Procedure:

Step 1 - Ask client to start on the Stomp-IT in a push up position inside the IsoRack or equivalent taking up the slack in the bar which is pressed up against their mid back and a surface that cannot move.

Step 2 - Push the START button.

Step 3 - Ask client to perform a push as hard as they can with the cue above.

Step 4 - Perform 3 repetitions in total with 3-5 seconds in-between each repetition.

Step 5 - Push STOP.
