What Are The Normal Results For My Client?

How to determine whether your client is performing well or poorly.

AxIT is designed for the everyday health and fitness professional and the way you manage the people that you work with.

Because of this, we understand one of the most important outcomes of any objective assessment is making it easy for you AND your client to understand the results and what they might mean for your client's presentation.

Normal Discrepancy

After performing any test you will notice that AxIT will display any imbalance in testing results using a coloured bar in the centre of the app. This display is colour-coded accordingly:

  • Green <10% discrepancy

  • Yellow 10-30% discrepancy

  • Orange >30% discrepancy

Research has suggested that anywhere from an 8-15% imbalance in force output depending on the test may impact performance. These discrepancies provide context on whether a meaningful imbalance exists in your client testing.

Reference Data

AxIT is also one of the only systems to provide evidence-based reference data to compare your client's results to a matched reference.

To access this data, swipe up or down on the relevant field where a reference light globe is displayed.

These results are designed to help guide the conversations that you have with your clients to educate and improve buy-in to your overall plan.

AxIT Connect

Every time a client is tested using AxIT this data is anonymised and stored on Strength By Numbers servers to strengthen our Benchmark data pool.

After you end a testing session using AxIT you can view how your client compared to similar gender, age, height, and weight-matched data with simplified strength scores by going to connect.strengthbynumbers.com

These results can be also converted into a simplified one pager report for your clients making it easier to understand their results and progress. This can then be emailed or printed off for an engaging testing experience.

One of the best ways to use this data is to set Baselines when the client is fit and healthy (eg: pre-season testing) and then use this data to help better understand when the client is ready to return to play, work, activity by tracking their progress back to where they need to be or better.
