Stomp-IT: Which test do you choose?

With the ability to choose so many different tests using your AxIT System how do you select the right one and what might the results mean for each.

In this example, Andrew breaks down different squat variations to give you more understanding of what you are looking at.

Normal: The client moves at a self-selected speed. Best for looking at force/weight distribution on dynamic movements.

Pause: Focuses on the concentric phase and maximum contraction force development in dynamic movements.

Fast: Focuses on both the eccentric and concentric maximum contraction force development in dynamic movements.

Loaded: May be used to better understand the effect of load on force/weight distribution on dynamic movements. Can sometimes increase imbalances and compensation.

Isometric: Repeatable and reliable assessment of maximum strength as the client exerts force as hard and fast as possible into a resistance that they cannot overcome.
