Grip Strength

 
 
Position: Attach the Pull-IT to the Grip-IT frame. Position your client in standing holding the Grip-IT by their side in a neutral position.
 
Cues: Squeeze as fast and as hard as you can and hold until I say stop - 3 to 5 seconds
 
Procedure:

Step 1 - Position client in a standing position holding the Grip-IT frame by their side with arms in a neutral position.

Step 2 - Push the START button on the side of the body that you are testing

Step 3 - Ask the client to squeeze as fast and as hard as you can and hold for 3 seconds until I say stop.

Step 4 - Rest for 3 seconds, repeat step 3 two more times

Step 5 - Push STOP

Step 6 - Repeat steps 2-4 on the other side.
