Push-IT Adductor Squeeze at 45° Hip Flexion
Position: Position your client in supine position with hips flexed 45° and knees flexed at 90°.
Cues: "Squeeze as fast and as hard as you can and hold for 3 seconds"
Procedure:
Step 1 - Position client in a supine position.
Step 2 - Position client's hip at slight abduction and 45° hip flexion and knees flexed 90°.
Step 3 - Push the START button.
Step 4 - Place Push-IT with isometric cap between both legs just proximal to the knee joint.
Step 5 - Ask client to squeeze as fast and as hard as they can and until you say stop.
Step 6 - Rest for 3-5 seconds, repeat step 5 two more times.
Step 7 - Push STOP.
Step 8 - Repeat steps 2-7 on the other side.
