Troubleshooting Common Connectivity Issues with the AxIT Device
Steps to resolve AxIT Device connectivity problems:
- Make sure your device is charged. The device will have a single blinking green LED when it is charging.
- Make sure you are using the latest version of the AxIT Software and the latest Android OS.
- Check that the device antenna (black plastic) is not obstructed and that there is a clear line of sight from the tablet to the device. Note that the Bluetooth signal may be affected if the tablet is used resting on the floor.
- Perform a USB reset. To do this, plug in a USB charging cable for at least 5 seconds, until you see the red charging light appear on the device. Then, unplug the cable and wait a few seconds.
- Reset the network settings by toggling airplane mode on and off.
- Reset the tablet.
Following these steps should resolve the issue.
Additional tips:
- If the device battery level is very low, this may affect connectivity. Charge the device and try again.
- If the device loses connection mid-test, simply scroll to the next or previous test and then return to the test that you would like to perform. This often forces reconnection.
