Troubleshooting Common Connectivity Issues with the AxIT Device

Steps to resolve AxIT Device connectivity problems:

  1. Make sure your device is charged. The device will have a single blinking green LED when it is charging.
  2. Make sure you are using the latest version of the AxIT Software and the latest Android OS.
  3. Check that the device antenna (black plastic) is not obstructed and that there is a clear line of sight from the tablet to the device. Note that the Bluetooth signal may be affected if the tablet is used resting on the floor.
  4. Perform a USB reset. To do this, plug in a USB charging cable for at least 5 seconds, until you see the red charging light appear on the device. Then, unplug the cable and wait a few seconds.
  5. Reset the network settings by toggling airplane mode on and off.
  6. Reset the tablet.

Following these steps should resolve the issue.
 
Additional tips:
  • If the device battery level is very low, this may affect connectivity. Charge the device and try again.
  • If the device loses connection mid-test, simply scroll to the next or previous test and then return to the test that you would like to perform. This often forces reconnection.
