Stomp-IT Drop Jump

Position: Position your client standing on top of a plyometric box or step from a maximum height of 30cm with the Stomp-IT just in front.

Cues: "Step off gradually from the platform and jump as high as you can landing back on the Stomp-IT. Step off slowly and then step back up onto the platform and repeat the process for a total of 3 repetitions. Step off the Stomp-IT at the end of the testing"

Procedure:

Step 1 - Ask client to stand on top of a 30cm box or step. Hands can either be placed on hips for greater focus on leg power or can be used freely by the client to assist the jump to look at overall power production.

Step 2 - Push the START button and ask client to perform the test using the cue above. Make sure the client doesn't jump up and out off the box or step.

Step 3 - Perform 3 repetitions in total. Once the client has finished the 3 repetitions they should step off the Stomp-IT normally before the test is ended.

Step 4 - Push STOP
