Pull-IT Hip Flexion

Position: Position your client in supine position anchoring the Pull-IT above the clients leg. The leg strap is attached approximately 5cm proximal the the malleolus around ankle.

Cues: Take all the slack out of the device before pulling up as fast and as hard as you can for 3 seconds.

Procedure:

Step 1 - Position client in supine position with leg attached to Pull-IT.

Step 2 - Position client's hip and knee flexed at 90 degrees taking all slack out of device.

Step 3 - Push the START button on the side of the body that you are testing.

Step 4 - Ask client to pull as fast and as hard as they can until you say stop.

Step 5 - Rest for 3-5 seconds, repeat step 4 two more times.

Step 6 - Push STOP.

Step 7 - Repeat steps 2-6 on the other side.
