How To Update V3 Timing Gate Firmware

Use the V3 Timing Gate Updater to install the latest firmware on your timing gate.

1. Download the updater here:

   V3 Timing Gate Firmware Updater

2. Choose the version for your computer:
   1. Windows: download the Windows updater
   2. Silicon Mac: download the Mac updater

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

• The V3 Timing Gate Updater
• A USB cable
• Your timing gate
  
  

Update Steps

1. Open the V3 Timing Gate Updater program.
2. Plug the timing gate into your computer using USB.
3. Turn the timing gate on.
4. Click the refresh button in the updater to find the timing gate.
5. Once the timing gate is detected, click Update Firmware.
6. Keep the timing gate plugged in and turned on while the update runs.
7. Wait until the updater says the update is complete and the timing gate has restarted.
8. You can now close the updater.
   
   

If the Gate Is Not Found

• Check that the USB cable is connected properly.
• Make sure the timing gate is turned on.
• Click the refresh button again.
• If it still is not found, open Select device manually or view log and choose the device port from the dropdown.
