Pull-IT Isometric Pull

Position: Position your client in sitting

Cues: Pull as fast and as hard as you can and hold until I say stop - 3 to 5 seconds

Procedure (**warning** - ensure correct protocol is followed to avoid device damage):

Step 1 - Position client in sitting position

Step 1a - Attach handle to Pull-IT

Step 2 - Position client's shoulder at 90 degrees flexion

Step 2b - Ask client to grab handle and ensure does not lean back while performing this test

(** leaning back and adding their bodyweight may overload the device. Ensure adequate instruction and test submaximal test is performed first**)

Step 3 - Push the START button on the side of the body that you are testing

Step 4 - Ask client to pull as fast and as hard as you can and hold for until I say stop.

Step 5 - Rest for 3-5 seconds, repeat step 4 two more times

Step 6 - Push STOP

Step 7 - Repeat steps 2-6 on the other side
