Stomp-IT Lunge Pause

PositionPosition your patient in a standing position in front of the AxIT Stomp-IT. Performing practice repetitions before testing may help find the correct distance away from the AxIT Stomp-IT.
Cues: "Perform 3 repetitions, lunging down to 90° of knee flexion and then pausing for 2 seconds. Push up and back as fast as you can when I say "Go". Pause in standing after you have completed 3 repetitions"
Procedure:
Step 1 - Ask client to start in front of the Stomp-IT in a standing position.
Step 2 - Push the START button.
Step 3 - Ask client to perform pause lunges with the cue above.
Step 4 - Perform 3 repetitions in total pausing for 3 seconds in between each repetition.
Step 5 - Push STOP.
Main Muscles: Gluteals, Quadriceps.
