Push-IT Shoulder Internal Rotation 90°/90°
Position: Position your client in standing position arm abducted and externally rotated to 90° with elbow flexed 90°.
Cues: "Push as fast and as hard as you can and hold for 3 seconds"
Procedure:
Step 1 - Position client in standing position.
Step 2 - Position client's arm in abduction at 90° with 90° of external rotation.
Step 3 - Push the START button on the side of the body that you are testing.
Step 4 - Place Push-IT just above the client's wrist and on any stable surface.
Step 5 - Ask client to: push as fast and as hard as you can and until I say stop.
Step 6 - Rest for 3-5 seconds, repeat step 5 two more times.
Step 7 - Push STOP.
Step 8 - Repeat steps 2-7 on the other side.
